The year 1973 marks the birth of the Premier briefcase. The name is no coincidence: the briefcase was, in fact, gifted to the Mayor of Milan, Aldo Aniasi, during his visit to the Valextra headquarters as an accessory worthy of a "Premier". Acknowledged as the modern attaché case, this briefcase boasts linear lines and manufactural perfection. The die-cast zip running along the whole perimeter is the same one used for NASA spacesuits and is closed by a stainless steel lock, a discreetly cunning solution to avoid scratches. A product, originally born to hold the designs and sketches of architects and designers, is used today, in its most contemporary interpretation, as a computer case by design connoisseurs.
The Premier Attachè Case today still remains a true expression of a modern vision in which the reinterpretation of shapes describes new and timeless symbols of elegance.
Features the unmistakable ‘Premier closure and an internal compartment for documents with double pockets.
Interior lining in leather, protective feet and silver hardware.
The signature “Costa” lacquered ink piping has been hand applied several times to the sheared edges and buffed to finish the piece.
Internally, a monogrammed serial number identifies the Artisan that has followed the creation process rendering this Valextra piece unique.
